Wyclef Jean came to Columbus, Ohio and left an everlasting memory of how one person can bring different cultures together through the love of music. As the room filled with many different races that joined together to make it not just a night at the symphony ... but a party!!! Wait did I say Symphony? Oh, yes I did , the actor , author , multi-Grammy award winning producer, song writer and hip hop guitarist Wyclef joined the Columbus Symphony along with the beautiful Moira Mack who sung background . Miora Mack held her own vocally when it came to filling in for the original vocals of Mary J.Blige and Lauren Hill for the night.
The multi talented Wyclef went from the piano, to the guitar…(3 different guitars I might add) I'm not going to even tell you how he played the guitar behind his head and with his mouth.... You had to be there. The Columbus symphony enhanced the night but what was so much more amazing was Wyclef stayed 100 genuine and true to himself and his culture. This man sung in different languages, danced and of course rapped. I believe Wyclef enjoy himself just as much as we enjoyed him. You could feel his vibe and energy through the way he spoke to the audience.
If you could take anything away from this moment, I hope you would take the message Wyclef displayed "live and enjoy life to the fullest' !
Bravo ,what an amazing night!!

Founded in 1951, the Columbus Symphony is the longest-running, professional symphony in central Ohio. Ohio Legislature to the Ohio Arts Council (OAC) (The OAC) is a state agency that funds and supports quality arts experiences to strengthen Ohio communities culturally, educationally, and economically. I think this is a wonderful idea that so far with Nelly, Common and now Wyclef has deem these events ….BRILLIANT!
