SELF HATE

In the black community we see this everyday. It is something that has been passed down from generation to generation. We as a community want to look at the white man or the government. We need to look at ourselves first. You can see this in Africans Vs African Americas there are so many stereotypes that some, not all believe and see. We as BLACK people separate our own ,you can see this in Dark skin vs Light skin comments and how we see beauty and treat each other. You can talk to people and they place beauty with lighter skin. We have people in our own community that want to have lighter skin and go through drastic measures to achieve a european look. Also you can see this with inner city to wealthy people black ,how sometimes they refer to each other and look down on each other. There is no respect for each other.

We have such a problem with self destruction and violence. The glorification through music to sale drugs and kill in your own community. It's such a sad thing to see how much poison that is placed inside our community. We as a people are some of the most creative , intelligent and innovative people on this Earth. No one will respect us even more if we don't start taking our communities, our boys/men and girls/women back.

Having pride in who and what we stand for ,holding our heads high and celebrating the positive achievements in our schools and communities. Embracing our children and telling them they can be anything they want to be and letting our boys know there is more to the world than sports and music. By bringing positive leaders in the community. Self hate can be taken away with "SELF LOVE"!
