An interview was sent my way by Big Heff, nothing new… in fact this was one of 3 that day. I usually enjoy interacting with artists, learning and enlightening my knowledge on new people and things I didn’t know about.
Every now and then you get a challenge, not in so much of your skills but in your patience in dealing with certain types of people. I am so glad I am “Girlfriends Talk” and I love what I do and because of this I get to rise above egos ...and address them at the same time.
Like I told “DJ Drizzle”, I’m going to make it do what it do regardless with that said for those who haven’t heard of “DJ Drizzle “ it is obvious the guy has great skills and talent. He seem to be a very smart individual so let me share with you all what I have learned about this individual.
This former University of Iowa football player DJ Drizzle is a Cincinnati, Ohio native who now resides in Macon, Georgia. He was given the title of “Cincinnati’s Official Street DJ.” for his ability to drop 3,000 mixtapes a month.
In 2008, DJ Drizzle was inducted into the Hittmenn DJs crew, where he worked side by side with Kaspa, the association’s President. As a Hittmenn DJ. DJ Drizzle gained more nationwide recognition. He obtained countless accolades, such as appearances in publications like OZONE, The Leak, Fushion, Tru Color, City Beat, Boss, Street Fame, 24/7, Makin It Magazine and several others. He also won 3rd Finger Record Pool’s DJ of the Month, 2010 Hip Hop Wired DJ Of The week, Hittmen DJ of the month 6 times and received numerous Ohio Hip Hop Awards nominations. He is the official DJ of BOLO “ Built On Loyalty Only”, which consist of artists Young Butta and Lil Spigg whom are all from Cincinnati, Ohio as well.
DJ Drizzle added A&R and promotions to his title and has worked with both Midwest and national artists. He’s assisted the careers of Midwest natives like Khadijah, LoFat, and Blackjack, as well as played a part in breaking names like Money Jay (Konvict), JW (CTE), J Futuristic (Universal), Jarvis (DTP), Rasheeda, Gorilla Zoe, Young Chris, Mo Pain, YG, Rosco Dash, Cali Swag District, Future and Mishon just to name a few.
His most recent work is DJ Drizzle and Young Butta present Butta’s mixtape “Live From the Futon: Reloaded” featuring the hot single “Money Dance” and new “Bando” music (a product of blending hype/turn up music)
